Laura Linney was one of the best American actors of recent times. Her strong and flimsy roles has made her a household brand. Her mother was a single, unmarried mother who was a nurse. Her interest with theatre in time spent in the summer with her famous father. She was a student of acting through Brown University, and later at Juilliard School. After graduating from Brown University, she started her Broadway debut shortly thereafter. In the space of two years from this, her first feature film was released and the next year she made her television debut. She has appeared on numerous stages, films and television productions since then. There were many awards she received throughout her career which included four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of all these nominations and awards, her enthusiasm for the theatre isn't gone in her, and she still performs in the stage and on screen.
