Jenna Fischer has become best well-known as Pam Beesly, the character she played in The Office. For this role, Jenna received two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but her family was primarily from St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna's mom Anne used to perform in dramas at church when she was younger, and this instilled an enthusiasm for theatre. A trained theater actress, Fischer returned to her roots after wrapping The Office. She starred with Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway show Reasons for Being Happy.
